  • Virtualize computer’s resources: the operating system must allow a total and complete “aggregation of the computing resources” in order to uncouple the current exploitation between the applications and the needs for computing resources ;
  • Manage the architecture as a single machine: The operating system must allow the exploitation of a computing architecture as “a virtual single machine”. What requires an high level of internalization of the daily operations by architecture itself.
